Adventure events for 2009/10!

Are you up for a challenge and raise funds for the charity? We can organise a white water rafting event or something similar for you. If you interested please contact Valerie for more information.

Cup of tea appeal Sunday 31 January 2010 is Homelessness Sunday and we would like to invite all churches to have a cup of tea and donate £1 in aid of Scottish Churches Housing Action.

Flyers and posters are now available, we also have speakers and preachers available to discuss issues of homelessness and what the churches are doing to help. Please contact Valerie on 0131 477 4500 or val@churches-housing.org if you would like to receive these or for more information.

Take a collection box. Can you collect small change in your home or church? With our attractive house collection boxes, the pennies soon mount up. Please contact Churches Housing and we will send you a box with guidelines for use. £125 raised. Thank you.

Give As You Earn. Give As You Earn is still a tax-effective way of supporting your favourite charities. You can arrange direct deduction of your regular contribution from your salary or pension. Please contact Churches Housing for more detail.

Hold a fundraising event. Coffee mornings, concerts, carol singing, ceilidhs are all ways in which you can raise money locally to support the national work of the churches in tackling homelessness. Please contact Churches Housing for ideas and suggestions.
