Diane Beckett, Development Manager for Scottish Churches Housing Action, has a big ambition for the organisation. And she’s putting it into action with her fundraising activity in October.
Diane will be walking 80 km of the Great Wall of China (total length 8,850 km) in 28 hours’ intensive walking over five days. Starting and finishing in the historic city of Beijing, Diane’s trip will include the 200-step ‘Heaven’s Ladder’ as well as Jinshanling, known as ‘the photographers’ favourite’ amongst sections of the Great Wall.
Diane’s target is £2,800 to be raised from this trip, to support the work of Scottish Churches Housing Action. “Your support is greatly appreciated,” she says.
