Homelessness projects get their own dedicated discussion site
Scottish Churches Housing Action today launched the Starter Pack Network online. All organisations running or developing a starter pack activity are invited to join the network. The network offers opportunities to projects to share information, practice and resources.
Starter pack projects provide small essential household items for people who have been homeless and are setting up a new home. They provide key support contributing to tenancy sustainment.
Elodie Mignard, Development Officer says: “Working to establish these projects for many years, we know from the projects that there was a need for this type of platform. I hope it will prove a useful tool to make their work more effective”.
To join the network, log on to www.churches-housing.org/starter-pack-network, find the link at the foot of the page and then simply click on register and follow the instructions.
If you have any questions about the network, please contact us at starterpacks@churches-housing.org
