Torridon Room in central Edinburgh available

25 March 2011

Scottish Churches Housing Action welcomes bookings for its Torridon Room meeting space in Edinburgh city centre.

Situated within the charity’s first-floor office at 44 Hanover Street, the Torridon Room offers quality, competitively-priced accommodation suitable for a range of events including meetings, conferences, talks and seminars.  A wide range of room layouts can be set up to suit individual requirements.

The Torridon Room is a five minute walk away from both Waverley Railway Station and St Andrew’s Bus Station.  Edinburgh Airport is easily accessed by a cheap, express bus service which departs from outside Waverley Station every 15 minutes.  There is a taxi rank nearby, and the location is handy for Lothian Buses’ regular city-wide services.

On offer is a range of catering facilities including Twinings teas and fairtrade coffee, and a wide range of lunch options.

The room is available for hire for a minimum of one hour, with equipment free of charge: flipchart and markers; wireless internet access; data projector; projection screen; laptop; and hearing loop.  For an extra charge, there is access to affordable, state-of-the art videoconferencing facilities.

Scottish Churches Housing Action takes pride in delivering a friendly, facilitative and flexible service.  So for anything you need that isn’t mentioned, just ask.
